Chris Spounias, Founder/Owner

Your tour guide, Chris Spounias, was born and raised in San Diego, CA. His father bought him his first Honda 2 wheel motorcycle at age 12 and he has been riding Southern California and Mexico ever since. In his 28 years of riding experience, Chris has become exceedingly familiar with the most amazing riding "hot spots". Chris has dedicated his life to helping others have fun...to the extreme! He thoroughly enjoys sharing his passion and knowledge with friends and clients. Nothing has given him more pleasure and pride than seeing his clients (who range in age from 8 through 85) develop their skills while having the ride of their lives!

While fun is our goal at Sand & Splash, be assured that you will be as kept as safe as you are excited. To begin with, Chris is a former professional firefighter as well as a certified emergency medical technician (EMT). He is also licensed by ASIA, as a certified ATV Safety Instructor. Chris will pass on what he's learned during thousands of miles of off-road riding, plus advance techniques he learned through courses conducted by Honda of North America that will benefit riders of all experience levels (beginner through intermediate). Under Chris' guidance, you'll be encouraged to take a hands-on safe operations course, which will only enhance your off-road experience.

Chris Spounias' Sand & Splash is fully licensed and insured and enjoy's a long-term, close relationship with the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) which oversees most of the property you'll be riding on. When it comes to off-road adventure, Chris is the professional you'll want along for the ride!
