Glamis Sand Dunes

Glamis Sand Dunes is the granddaddy of the off-road recreation areas in southern Imperial County, California. It has everything a duner could want in an open off-road and open camping area. Glamis is so popular that its tiny population may swell from a handful of year ‘round residents to 340,000 on major holiday weekends. Glamis and the surrounding area are popular movie locations. The Dunes by Butter Cup Valley have been featured in many TV shows, commercials and Hollywood films like StarGate and Waynes World II.
